Default Thank you (was Baked Beans)

Thank you so much to all the kind people here who gave me so much great
advice and suggestions

I will look for dried beans when I go into town, at which time I will be
using Guisi's recipe.

So... having taken very good advice from the posters here and in email... I
cooked my canned beans with some oak smoked ham lardons, onions, garlic,
fresh herbs: lemon thyme, parsley and sage and a glug of wine!

I was very careful not to let them boil so they stayed whole and they were
SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much to you all! I will certainly be cooking beans again! We
loved them)))
