Hi Larry,
Bit of a long-shot but you may just get this message...!
Does the hob not switch off automatically after about 3 hours? I'm looking for a hob that I can leave all day on a very low setting.

Why not just buy a slow cooker? They come in different sizes if
you don't need one that will feed a large family.
