OMG!

I can't get my mind around this. She will be in my prayers.

Alex, who didn't know she was ill.

Were you participating actively on rfc at that time, Alex? It seems
you were AWOL for a while - maybe it was during that time, because her
illness was plastered all over rfc.

Better yet let's hope WE are in her prayers.

You're right, whatever the cause, I missed it and this news is more of
a shock to me. It just doesn't seem possible, somehow. It hits me as
tragic and I don't mind saying that I've already had tears over it.
There are too few decent posters to lose one like Kili.

Alex, who will drink a bumper to Christy and family tonight. It will
be a glass of SanGiovese, as I'm servin Minestrone Genovese with
Tuscan bread.

She was too young, that's for sure.

She was very sweet, but unhappy, although her public persona was
upbeat and cheery.

Absolutely true.

I think about her fondly too.

Now I feel twice the fool. I remember some pix about a get-together in
Fla, I think, in remembrance of someone departed. I do not recall who
it was, but she was an r.f.c. regular.

It's pretty obvious I'm getting too damned old and out of touch. My
apologies to anyone I've offended with this crap I've posted. But I'll
drink that bumper anyway. Why is it I can remember Hattie and not
Kili? Maybe its all the Tramadol I take. Again, please accept my
apologies. I intended no offense and was honestly shocked.

Alex, genuinely sorrowful. "No man is an island....."

The first is always the worst. As successive cyberpals pass on, they
don't leave the same impression.
