And so that all this happens AFTER they have gone off into their golden sunsets in their golden parachutes. If you want to see a real celebration, go to a Marine funeral, and see the protesters there. It will change your outlook. Or not. Personally, I got inflamed when near 3,000 Americans were murdered by people we went and killed afterwards. Our god must have been very happy when we forgave them so quickly, and are even allowing them to build a mosque at the scene of the crime. But that's just me. Steve |

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The US pretty much practices retribution on a biblical scale which I think is pretty fitting given the theater of the Iraq war. They kill 3,000 of ours and we kill 100,000 to 600,000 of theirs. It's likely that most of the civilians killed are completely innocent but that can't be helped. About how many Iraqis do you figure we'll have to kill before you'll feel right about it? I'm guessing 1 million. Anything above that you're just being mean! What would Jesus do? Back in his time, 2 of them for one of us would probably be a good rule of thumb - or ass's jawbone. I guess we do have to adjust for 2000 years of inflation. :-) > > Steve > > |

I'll take chollos over Cleansers any day of the week. Fact is, like Gloria P. posted from Denver how we have failed in mideast/central Asian policy and are thus stuck in endless wars out there, the same applies to U.S. -> Mexican policy, which a succession of administrations have ****iilloed-up ever since the Mexican War (when was that? 1830), creating a border security and economic migration problem ever since. White Arizonans are losers. The only exception I know of is Wayne here. Free Atztlan !!!! your token red, S. |

Those 3000 were not all Americans, there were many foreign nationbals working for multi-national corporations in the towers. The terrorists were not Iraquis or Afghanis, they were Saudi Arabians. Even if the prime mover of the operation was bin Laden, Pres. Bush effectively "forgave" him when he said he was no longer concerned with his whereabouts or finding him. This war was about the Bush family helping their friends in the middle east oil business and hurting their mutual enemies. And we are sending our young people to fight and die in wars that just don't make sense. And that's just me. gloria p |

Meanwhile, a revolution brews within the US and people's attention is turned away: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_d7KiKaW0A You people are dangerous to anyone who happens to be stuck living next to you...like me. You create the problem (history has demonstrated that US interference in foreign policy is the cause of many existing anti-US movements going back to WWII) and then complain when your own brainchild comes back to bite you on the ass. I have two things to say to you: 1. Suck it up! 2. Stop it before you do more damage! Mahatma Gandhi said: What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy? He also said, when asked about Western civilization, that it would be a good idea. -- When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross. His whole family was in the USA at a meeting with the Carlyle Group when 911 happened. Bush allowed them to leave the country even though there was a no fly order. Smell crooked, smell Bush. |
