Default Baking today

Baking kaiser rolls today for the first time from Peter Reinhart's
recipe in "The Bread Baker's Apprentice"...Wanted something for
sandwiches and I still had some diastatic malt powder left from some
bagels I made a month ago. I'll top them with sesame seeds, I don't
have any poppy.

I still have 8 oz of pate fermentee to use before friday...may make
french bread tomorrow.

The house will smell nice while I study. I have an anatomy exam on
sunday and a final next saturday. Going into them with a 91 average, but
I am worried...

Yum! I'm on the second rise of my rolls. It's not as cold here. only
52 degrees. The news reports are already losing their minds over the
"cold snap". I hate it here. Seriously.

I don't have plants, oddly enough. The HOA mandates that we can only
have the bushes out front that D.R. Horton planted when they built the
house, and those bushes are mostly dead already because they're crappy,
cheap bushes. Planning on putting some bulbs in the back soon. Guess I
better do it this afternoon lol.

It was 29° (F) in my corner of Louisiana. We protected the plants as
well as we could. This is why I want to retire in south Texas, it gets
too darn cold up here for me. I am a warm weather wimp. I'm also a warm
water diver, cold water is not for me.

Anatomy exam? That's like what the TSA does at the airport, right?
