We had Clam Spaghetti with Angel Hair pasta and a killer salad, right here at home. Don't know who I want to win now that the Phillies aren't in it. Neither team has won a world series. Nan in DE |

Wild rice is okay, but not alone and I think brown rice is a perfect match for it. The dried mushrooms were perfect with the rice blend. -- Never trust a dog to watch your food. |

Only the fittest survived. :( -- Never trust a dog to watch your food. |

If it can survive a dry Texas summer without any help, it should do well here. If you have any oregano seeds, gather a few of those for me too. I'm pretty sure it will do okay here, Mexican (ornamental) salvia does. I have unwatered rosemary and edible sages that are doing just fine. The neighbor throws a little water on my marjoram and thyme when she waters her lawn by hand, so they survive too. Maybe I should put the onion seeds up there and see how it does. -- Never trust a dog to watch your food. |
