Lunch on the grill today :)
Nice weather and not windy, so fired up the grill.
Menu: Sweet potatoes Yellow Corn-on-the-cob Pork chops, marinated in Worcester(shire) sauce and peanut oil Tomato, onion and sliced fennel salad (not grilled) Everything turned out perfectly! Usually my grilled corn gets slightly overcooked, but was very nice for a change There was a watermelon for dessert, but we were too full, so that's for dinner. How was your lunch? |

Pedestrian, but good: balogna sandwiches on wild-rice-and-onion bread, with thin-sliced onions. Dinner will be peppers stuffed with a mixture of barley, chorizo, onions, carrots, and parmesan cheese. Really looking forward to it. Serene -- http://www.momfoodproject.com New post: Follow Friday: Mark Bittman and NYT bread |

Your pudding recipe, minus the cornstarch, will make a decent frozen custard, methinks. The vanilla FC is about to run out Can't imagine where it's gone LOL. |

The two most common brands around here are Ibarra (which we use) and Abuelita. Occasionally there are other brands but those come and go. |
