You can kill live bacteria, but it probably won't detoxify the
exotoxins they produces when alive.

Learn a little bit about microbiology! ;-)

Depends, botulism can develop in about that time. Salmonella can grow very
rapidly. All depends on the environment and what the food may have been
innoulated with. High acid foods are safer as are foods with little
moisture content. Also, many toxins are rendered inert from heat. Botulin
is one. Salmonella toxin is heat stable though.

i don't think salmonella is caused by exotoxins:

<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foodborne_illness#Exotoxins>

....and botulism isn't going to be an issue in a slice of pizza. besides, i
don't even think twelve hours' worth of botulism toxin is going to cause
you any harm:

Food-borne botulism usually results from ingestion of food that has become
contaminated with spores (such as a perforated can) in an anaerobic
environment, allowing the spores to germinate and grow. The growing
(vegetative) bacteria produce toxin. It is the ingestion of preformed toxin
that causes botulism, not the ingestion of the spores or the vegetative
bacteria.

If you're going to eat leftover pizza in the 'morning after', eat it cold,
and have it with cold Coke. That kills all germs :-)
