Crossposting request
Folks, I know it can happen by accident but please start checking posts for
crossposting. We've all seen the recent influx of crossposting spammers that arrived with Brian Anasta. Mostly he adds rec.knives and we are flooding them with our replies to him then each other when we forget to remove the rec.knives. I added rec.knives and once you wade through all the spam (a lot of it!), there's a few rather nice sounding folks just trying to discuss their hobby. In fact, I may stay there to chat up good knives with them. Just have to adjust spam filteres as they have a small but determined group of crossposting spammers like Krypsis etc. |

I went to ukf+d when their trolls invaded rfc and decided to stay. They're a nice group of people over there too - after you adjust your kill filters a tad. -- Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get. |

Sometimes a troll trying to hard a group or stir stuff up, backfires. BTW, there are as best as I can tell 2 'Krypsis' and I should have said that. 'Krypsis' is either the removal of godhood divinity from Jesus, or a Japanese anime character. |

I warned everyone right from the start it was going to cause trouble. Which is why I killfiled it there and then. If ever I *do* crosspost (deliberately), it's to another food group that I think would benefit. > > I added rec.knives and once you wade through all the spam (a lot of > it!), there's a few rather nice sounding folks just trying to discuss > their hobby. In fact, I may stay there to chat up good knives with them. Might see you over there ;-) I'm a Gerber and Kershaw fan. -- Peter Lucas Brisbane Australia I didn't fight my way to the top of the food chain to be a vegetarian. |
