Statements like this are really dumb. What is "way too done"? People
cook according to their own tastes and what is wrong with that?

Unless you are saying that the only correct way to cook and eat anything
is the way YOU do it... and anything else is wrong.

You wouldn't be that self centered, would you?

You don't thing the sun, moon and stars all revolve around you, do you?

Nah.

George L <---- makes mine rare to medium rare..... and will make yours
any way you want it.

Look at the evidence here in rfc.

I hope that's a rhetorical question.

George has a way of saying things. He gets his points across without
being really rude.

Nothing, IMO.

As a good cook/host should. FWIW, Jack and I like our steaks (very) rare,
but other family and friends not so much... No big deal to leave the
steaks on the BBQ/grill for a little longer for those who prefer theirs
medium or well done, is it?

Dad likes his meat well done. If there is any hint of pink, he'll nuke
it. I prefer mine bloody rare.

When I do a cookout I point the more fussy guests to the grill to cook
their own... only takes a few minutes to cook steak/burgers and most
folks show up at different times anyway... outdoors I welcome all the
help I can get... just keep out of my kitchen. I think a cookout
should be informal, folks eat when they feel like it... I don't cook
steaks all at once, I've had more than my fill of regimented
cooking/dining.
