Not hard at all to find it here, but we have a large Ethiopian
population here (there are Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurants on almost
every corner in my neighborhood, like the taco shops in San Diego), and
I actually bought this last bag of it at Whole Foods. It's Bob's Red
Mill brand.

BRM brand is all over here in NJ, too, even the mainstream
supermarkets carry a wide variety of the line. Did you get the flour
or the whole grain?

The flour. I'm not sure I'd want the whole grain. How does one grind it
-- in a blender?

So far as I know, you need a flour mill to do this, a blender
or food processor doesn't work.

Whole teff can be cooked up into a sort of a porridge. I haven't
quite figured out the best thing to do with it. If I just
substitute it for cous-cous, the result is not quite right.
Plus it is expensive.

I have a grain grinder attachment for my Kenwood mixer.

The grains are small and I wonder if a coffee grinder might wok. I
haven't tried it, but I do use that sort of grinder for spices at
times.
