Default Mexican Food night at the Diner

We met our friends for dinner at our local diner tonight.
Tuesday night is Mexican food night.
You have two choices, yes I want the Mexican food special or, no I'll
order off the menu thank you. Tonight the offering was flautas.

Some times it's chile rellenos, or tacos, or what ever the cook feels
like cooking that night. It's a surprise every week.

They were pretty darned good. Two flautas, rice and beans. I don't
know what the price of our meal was, our friends picked up our tab
tonight, how nice was that.

Oh, heavens, - I wish now I hadn't looked at that right before lunch!!
Now I'm drooling.
Makes me miss a great Mexican resto I used to frequent. The had THE
best Burrito Supreme - never could figure out what they put in their
Ranchero sauce.
