Do you stick a toothpick in the cat food?

No. Dried food. I've brought it to partys as part of "Chex mix".
Everyone liked it until they knew what it was. Keeps my tartar down
and my fur glossy.

What is boot liquor?

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Have a read, and then check out what 'Burning Man' is :-)

I read the first sentence and as soon as I saw Burning Man, I thought of
Burning Sky, which goes hand in hand.

Its one a them interweb, itune, music source things. I'm not sure how
I stumbled on it so it is hard for me to tell you how to get there.
Follow Pete's link, I guess. Alt and classic country. It is really
the best if this is what you want. 9 am, the robo DJ says "If you are
not liking this, you are just not drinking enough"

Food - I like those moist cat treats, too. Full of junk, sure, but so
is everything you get in a packet.

My favorite line from tonight's boot licker - "I'm close enough to
shore to know I'm too far out to sea"

So it's a certain type of music or the name of a band?

It's some kind of Internet "radio station". I tried to play it and
found out that somebody or other involved is a typical artsy-fartsy
buffoon, eschewing standards for the sake of eschewing standards, and
I'm not interested enough to jump through whatever hoops are necessary
to make the thing work.

I dunno. I'm listening now. Webb Pierce - There Stands The Glass.
On an old iMac that needs to be replaced. No fartsy hoop eschewing
stuff that I can tell. Reception is better than from the local FM
antenna radio. Better luck next time.

Maybe there is an easier way. For me, I got this used computer that
had a button for iTunes. Radio/country/boot liquor at SomaFM.
Something like that.

A drummer? I can't imagine. So I need to taste it. Give me a name
or a site or something.

his name is dave elliott. you can hear him sing at this site:

<http://www.claudearthur.com/thedcrootsquartetswingingdaves.cfm>

doing 'ready, willling and able.' (the correct title is 'i'm ready,' a
fats domino tune, covered by the band on *moondog matinee*, highly
recommended.)

elliott also played for many years with danny gatton, if you've heard of
him.

if you go to the site, there's also a remarkable version of 'ode to billy
joe,' an instrumental with excellent dobro by another local dave, dave
giegerich.

but it's all good stuff, recorded a virginia beer joint i spend a fair
amount of time at. dave chappell, the telecaster player, is remarkable.

i love watching drummers sing for some reason.

your pal,
blake
