That sort of thing used to be big in the Royal Navy--then it was a suet
pudding with currents that looked much like, well, like a penis with
chancres, something with which sailors in the Royal Navy in the
Napoleonic era would be quite familiar. It's quite good actually if you
go for that sort of thing.

Didn't order any... spotted it while searching the Subscribe & Save
products for <snacks> and mostly noted it was a Heinz product... seems
Heinz prepares many products for the brit market. Amazon has a winner
with their new Subscribe & Save program... my pretzels already arrived
and today I ordered two kinds of licorice. It's very easy to manage
your item list, making changes is one-click simple. Every item in the
program is free shipping and 15% off the already discounted price. I
buy a package of Snyder's of Hanover sourdough pretzels about once a
week anyway, but now I save 30% over store price and it's delivered
right to my door for free. At any time I can change the delivery
frequency, postpone the next delivery, escalate the next delivery to
ship immediately, or remove the item from my list entirely... can't
lose.

Cool! Never noticed that feature at Amazon.

I did see that they also offer haggis - in several forms. Not that I'm
ordering any (nothing personal, Nick), but I've had the real thing in
Scotland, and have never had a desire to try it again, canned or not.

How wonderful. Sheldon, I could kiss you right now. :-) The Asian
market is on the other side of town, and Amazon has everything I have
searched for, they even have minced ginger, fried garlic, Vietnamese
cinnamon, rice noodles, snails, sugar crackers. They have more
gluten-free foods than I have seen in the health food stores. Right now
I am looking at their chili powder, that will keep me busy for a while.
Thanks so much. <smooch>
