Limes

Have a lot of limes to squeeze?
Don't have a citrus reamer?

half the limes and squeeze using an old fashioned nut cracker. Great
leverage.

But you won't get all the juice without moving the lime half about
several times... may as will use a pair of pliers... and then the
pits. Without a citrus squeezer (they're very inexpensive) it's far
easier to squeeze limes by hand if they're quartered. But every
kitchen should have at least an inexpensive lemon/lime squeezer, far
more important than a garlic press.
