Glad to hear this. New additions are fun!
I myself like cats. My ex bitch got the dog and I can't do that again. I
loved that little ******* and she stole him.

Congratulations on the new puppy, Michael. I've missed bits of the earlier
thread. Is it at all possible that Missy could be treated effectively for
her cancer?

Is this the announcement of a new puppy or did I miss that? What brought
the new puppy to the house? Please tell. I've been following all this as we
just went through pretty much the same thing. I'm not sure how to read one
of the sentences above--did you name the puppy Sheldon or were you telling
Sheldon about the new puppy {)

Congratulations on the new dog! We have a black cocker spaniel and he's
the sweetest dog in the universe. A very gentle little man.

You probably know this, but their ears are trouble! Get that blue ear
flush and clean them once a week to stay on top of it. My dog's ears are
so bad that he was a candidate to have ear surgery, but he was diagnosed
with oral melanoma the week he was supposed to see the surgeon! Needless
to say, that surgery isn't happening now.

Anyway, good luck with your new pup!

That's understandable. I didn't know what options there were. I treated
my cat for kidney and liver disease perhaps longer than I should have.
I'll always wonder if I should have let her go sooner. I was selfish.

Color? Of the cocker, not the chicken. I'm partial to goldens.
