Default Question - beef suet

Hi

I had some frozen beef suet and I took it out to use for green tomato
mincemeat. I thawed it, but didn't end up using it so I stuck it back in my
freezer. Is it still good to use?

ha ha... It's a good thing I went to London a few years back, so I knew what
you were talking about! I remember when a girlfriend and I first saw
"spotted dick" on a menu we had a good laugh. :-)

ha ha... It's a good thing I went to London a few years back, so I knew what
you were talking about! I remember when a girlfriend and I first saw

Real Suet!!? I switched to vegetable suet years ago. Cholesterol city is
real suet!

Real suet does have cholesterol, but vegetable suet is loaded with trans
fats. Trans fats are much worse for you than saturated fats, which humans
have been eating for some two million years.

Real suet does have cholesterol, but vegetable suet is loaded with trans
fats. Trans fats are much worse for you than saturated fats, which humans
have been eating for some two million years.

What is green tomato mincemeat?... sweet or savory dish? Served as a
side, or dessert, or what?

My grandma made mincemeat pie made with suet, so I do know that part
(at least). I would think refreezing suet would be fine.
