The best (and the most) Durum wheat in the world is grown in North Dakota. Much of the wheat is exported to Italy, BUT in the last decade there have been a number of farmer owned (co-op) companies that make pasta. One great brand is "Dakota Growers". No, I do not have stock in the company (I wish!) but occasionally I mail the pasta to my sister in PA. Lynn from Fargo |
