cookware dimensions question

I'm looking for quality cookware that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Though my internet reseach, it seems one way of determining quality of
bottom clad cookware is the thickness of the disk. This manufacturers
don't seem inclined to readily share this information. Can anyone
point me to a website that would have dimensions for different brands of
cookware.

Also, it seems that height to width ratios fluctutate between lines of
cookware. Cuisinart everyday and multiclad six quart stockpots seem to
quite different with multiclad appear wider and shorter. Can anyone
tell me if this is truly the case, or is it a picture mix up?

I would love to look at the two side by side in person, but it appears
that cuisinart is phasing out both lines and I can only find the
multiclad 10 piece set in one store. And I can't find everyday line
anywhere locally. They seem like good pans and have gotten many good
reviews.

I can't help you with your specific question. I can tell you that my
Wolfgang Puck cookware has very thick disks on the bottom. If you are
interested in reasonably priced stainless with disk bottoms, I would
recommend that you look at the WP line. If you don't like it, HSN will
refund your purchase price plus shipping within 30 days. You can take a
