Vita Mix Question

Does anyone have one of these machines? I have a cousin who has one and it
seemed impressive. They tend not to cook a whole lot so they really have
not used the machine very much. Does anyone have comments about this
blender?

I appreciate your help

Best blender I ever owned. My son calls it a blender with a VW
engine.

I use it to make sorbet and frozen margaritas! WOW!

I have had mine for years, and I still love it.
My most common usages are
1. I puree tomatoes out of my garden, then cook them on the stove to 'condense'
them into tomato sauce for other dishes.
2. I make smoothies for the kids' after school or evening snacks, using
whatever fruit is in season.

There are way more uses for it than those, all of which are delightful.

I do. It looks like a streamlined 1940's car. All chrome. I don't know
when it was made.

I found it tucked into the back of a cabinet in an apartment I once moved
into.

It seems to be fine. I'm told it is something great, but it seems like
its just a good blender to me.
