How To Cook Stuff?
I know, generic message. But I need a site that tells me how to
prepare items. For instance, I was looking for instructions how on long to boil sausage. It is not on the package and I am a bachelor! :) Is there any helpful sites that tell you have to prepare things? Thanks Brian |

Most cable companines now carry "The cooking channel". Good luck! As for boiling sausage, depends on the type! Raw sausage, about 15 minutes. When you stab it, the juices should be clear. Cured/pre-cooked sausage (like a lot of the commercial smoked sausages,) just long enough to heat it, like maybe 5 to 10 minutes, but I usually slice that in half down the middle and heat it in a skillet until brown. Comes out yummier IMHO. K. -- Sprout the Mung Bean to reply... >,,<Cat's Haven Hobby Farm>,,<Katraatcenturyteldotnet>,,< http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...user id=katra |

Just cook the sauces in a hot plan and turn them frequently until they are nice and browned all over. You might also find cooking directions on the sausage package. For general cooking information, get a book called the Joy of Cooking. This is a very good book about basic cooking concepts. |
