Midnight snack redux

A slice of fig tarte with a squeeze of softened cream cheese on top.

It's a bit early for a midnight snack, but I'm tired after driving to
DFW and back today. The tarte was day-old, but still pretty good.

Speaking of figs, I saw some today in the grocery store, 2 (small
ones) for 99cents! I can't get over how expensive they are.

That would mean that my tarte had about three bucks worth of fresh
ones in it and another couple bucks in pureed figs. (I'd pureed them
and froze small batches last month)
