Recreating Danone creamy strawberry yogurt

I don't think this got through the first time I sent it, so here it is
again...:

I make my own yogurt, but my kids won't eat it. They will only eat
Danone Creamy Strawberry yogurt. It is a sweet, pinkish yogurt with
little bits of strawberries in it. Anyone have any idea how to recreate
this using my own homemade yogurt (or any plain yogurt, for that matter.
LC or not))

I will try to experiment, based on the ingredients list, but I thought
that if someone had already done this, it might save me time and wasted
yogurt.

A friend that makes his own delicious yogurt also has children about
that prefer the fruity sort, so what he does works quite well. Just
choose some strawberries to use that are quite ripe (for their
sweetness), and use a hand mixer (his is the Hamilton stick blender) to
puree them until there are just some bits left for texture, them fold
these into cups of yogurt for those that want them. That's all there is
to it.

It contains quite a bit of sugar. Have you tried blending strawberry jam
into your yogurt?

I've had good success with Steels jams & yogurt:

a little of the strawberry in good whole milk yogurt tastes like the standard stuff.

Strawberry preserves with more chunks of strawberry might work better...

Your kids also might not like your culture flavor.

When I made my own yogurt, I used some Dannon as my original culture
because I personally like it's flavor the best as well! Dannon sells a
live yogurt, so you can use a bit of the unflavored stuff as your
starter, and pass it from there.

This sounds like an idea. I'm trying to sell my four year old
daughter on drinking kefir, but it's much too tart for her taste.
I'll have to try this tonight.

Or putting some strawberries in the blender? Frozen ones are pretty cheap at
trader joe's. If you want to cut down on raw sugar, maybe you could add a
little bit of OJ or apple juice concentrate?
