When my ISP dumped newsgroups, I tried some free & paid options and thought
I'd mention that I've had good luck with Newsguy.

They added a new "Mini" account, 6 months of service for $12, that may be a
worth a look if you're shopping for a provider.

Full newsgroup access (text & binary), no missing postings, NNTP & Web
access, 3GB monthly downloads, unused GB roll over, newsgroup search engine
& free SSL.

Your post would look less like spam if you had posted here before. And
not also posted this to alt.politics as well.

Most here use other news services, many use eternal-september it's free

Could be a zealous new employee, but I can't imagine news guy or
whatever it was he mentioned condoning it.
