I rarely watch any of the Iron Chef shows, but I'm watching this series. At
least until Amanda Freitag gets dumped.

When she is a judge on any show, such as Chopped, she is rather critical as
well as rude and snippy at times. With her on the competing end, she is now
seeing it from a different perspective. She takes a lot of offense when
negative comments are made about her food.

I don't watch ANY of the competitive food TV shows.

Competitors AND hosts AND judges are so overly full of BS, it's laughable!!!

Imho,

Andy

How do you know all of that, if you don't watch? I think you are as full of
shit as a Thanksgiving turkey.

I haven't seen the show, but I'll try to watch it. I always think it's
funny when people can dish out the punishment, but can't take it. I
dislike "Chopped", just because they emphasize the "dishing it out".
One of the things I've always liked about "Iron Chef" is that the judges
mostly emphasize the positive.

Yet another dumb **** (obviously you are dumb with your superfluous
comma, or do you have a speech impediment, are you a stutterer?).
Anyone with a functioning brain would immediately realize that Andy
meant to type that he doesn't watch ANYMORE. But your comma was not
erroneous, Jenny is a DUMB ****! LOL

Yeah, I don't watch some of them either. That means I watch them once,
or if I *really* don't like them, just part of one, and resolve not to
watch again. Then again, sometimes my wife watches (she likes
"Chopped", which I don't). We only have one tv, and it's in the living
room, so sometimes I end up watching (or listening to) shows that I
don't like. If I *really* don't like a show, and my wife does, I just
go for a walk (after ascertaining the ending time for the show). What
*really* ****es me off is when the shows are on in the evening, because
I don't like to walk in the dark.

I would think one would need to. I would also think that one would state
that 'After watching a few of these shows I no longer watch ANY of the
competitive food TV shows', rather then declaring you don't watch and then
offering a critique.

I think of her as the grouchy judge. Thanks for the reminder to watch
her as a contestant:?).

But, but any seasoned usenetter knows one is supposed to lurk for a
while before jumping into the fray, so anyone one with a functioning
brain would know exactly what Andy meant the same as they'd know my
response to any remark regarding Spam, preground mystery meat, and
breast feeding.

The summary given by my Tivo lists 4 names. She's one of those 4 names.
There's no guarantee that the 4 names listed are the final 4, but it's a
good guess I think.

I like most of the contest shows on FoodTV and HGTV. Displays of
creativitiy.

I suspect she will do well. In spite of the fact that I don't like her
personality much, she is a very experienced chef. At one time she did
challenge Bobby Flay and lost. Maybe this is the network's way of getting
her in the club.

She doesn't care much for Chef Crenn, and the feeling is mutual. I
noticed this week that Chef C criticized Freitag's dish, so Freitag
turned around and did the same to Chef C. Pretty funny.... I think
she's taken grumpy lessons from Alex Guarnischelli, or vice versa.
When she's amused by something she seems very charming.

I didn't think much of the chef who took all the grape leaves for no
reason - and when he got criticized for the strong odor that
infiltrated his finished dish, I thought, "Karma!" He should count on
his chef abilities instead of playing a juvenile game to try and
win.

I would think that the time spent as a judge on Chopped sure wouldn't
hurt.
