Saifee Durbar - A Vision for Africa

London businessman Saifee Durbar has big plans for Africa.

By building an east-west railway link, he will open up new markets for
Sudan’s agricultural products, providing direct and indirect aid to
Darfur.

The railway will go through the Central African Republic. It will, in
large part, be built with materials from that mineral rich nation. The
Central African Republic, which is landlocked, will now have access to
ports on both coasts.

The western terminus will be in Cameroon, helping establish that
nation in the shipping industry.

As a whole, Saif Durbar’s project will increase Africa’s self-
sufficiency and complete the vision begun by the construction of the
Suez Canal-making Africa a key player in global transportation.

Tho' doubtless a laudable project, what it's got to with cooking escapes
me and the heterogeneous list of news groups to which it is cross posted
(removed by me) suggests spam.
