The Original Ball Park Franks are now mostly mechanically separated
chicken. They've ruined yet another American past time.

Our Newflower (AKA Sunflower) market sucks. Whenever they have a
ground beef sale all they do is take round and throw it though the
grinder. It tastes terrible.

The rest of their meat always has brown spots on it. I don't trust
anything from their meat department. It's so high priced that
nobody buys it, yet they let all that brown crap sit there on
display. Their marketing department really needs a slap upside the
head.

In Fargo this week:

Chicken breasts $2.48 lb. (I have bought quarters in a 10# bag @ $
3.90 this year)

In Store Ground (in-store) beef -- 80/20 $1.58 lb. 95/05 $2.98
lb.

Boneless Angus chuck roast $2.98 lb

Fresh (made in store) bratwurst $2.18 lb. Smoked/Cooked $2.48 lb

Chicken of the Sea white tuna $1.18

Sweet Corn 8/$1.98

Nectarines (gorgeous) $1.89 lb

This is "my store" because they have good meat AND good produce and
the prices are OK Service is excellent.

We have a relatively new one in the SE Denver suburbs and I buy
a lot there. Their meat has been very good and has a quick turnover.

I like the new Sprouts better, but it's twice as far from home and
not as convenient.

I agree I like Sprouts better also. And I LOVE the Wednesdays
deals at both stores. Awesome to get last weeks sales and
currents weeks sales on one day.

I was thinking of a store in Vacaville. I see it's not Sprouts. Not
sure what it is now.
