I remember it like it was yesterday. The Bay bridge closing post Loma
Prieta near doubled our commute time for months while ppl streamed
around the bottom of the Bay and across the other two bridges.

My relentless 10 yr commute pretty much killed my love of driving. I
still enjoy it, somewhat, but no longer love driving like when I was
younger.
