I'm sure it is. You can bread and fry anything!

No, you can't, at least not well. Alaskan pollock falls apart if you
try to bread and fry it. Tilapia stays together.

Sure. It's large flaked and kind of fragile though. Handle gently
and it won't come apart.

Let us know what you think.

It's not *that* sea bass.

I used to buy "that sea bass" at Straubs, back when I had money and
sea bass at Straubs was about $6 a lb. Now it's up to $15 a lb and I'm
poor, so I stick with their $2.99/lb ground beef (on sale),

Schnucks is having a sale on 3lb paks of skinless boneless chicken
breasts! Perfect for my curried chicken! I'm gonna stock up before or
by the weekend. I've got 10lbs of ground beef patties in my freezer
(minus one I ate for dinner). I'll have to ride up to Seafood City and
get some more coconut milk too! (I really should get a deep freezer.)

I'm going to get some early Thursday, and make it for early lunch. If
I find it to be great, I'll buy more before I leave for work. It's on
sale Thurs only.

It was good, and held together fine. It was lager than tilapia, and
not appreciably better in flavor. That translates into not worth
paying twice the price (or more). I can usually find tilapia for
$3.49/#, and the regular price on the barramundi is $7.99/12oz, or
$10.66/#. I effectively paid $6.65/#, but I doubt they offer that
price very often.

So, breakfast cost a bit more, but was still yummy. I love fried fish
any time of day.

Alas, I couldn't touch it for under $12. I like barramundi.

Ever see one whole? Interesting looking fish.

They look kinda like a largemouth bass with its eye moved forward.

What's weirder looking is Hoki.
