Nut Butters, Food Processor - blade question

Hello, new here. I make nut-butters at home - my wife and I love them
and so do both our kids. I have a food processor question.

I use an old Oskar mini-sized food processor to do this - makes small
batches, which is the problem, but it has a straight blade at the
bottom, which is the good part. Our other food processor is an old
(15-years old so) Sunbeam - it has a serrated blade at the bottom, which
is the problems, but it's bigger, which is good.

A quick look around the Internet and a call to the local Chef Central
both could _not_ find me a normal-sized food processor with an
unserrated blade that sits at the bottom. Any thoughts on this one
appreciated, e.g., is there such a thing, is the blade really what's
makes the difference in the consistency of my homemade nut butters,
should I give up on a food processor and use the Vita-Mix blender, which
is what the people at Chef Central recommend but costs upwards of
$500-600, which I don't have, etc. I get the consistency I like with
the Oskar and its straight blade - a little crunchy.

Thanks in advance.
