My wife was out for dinner and I was going to make some soup and chicken salad sandwiches for dinner for my son and me. I had everything chopped up and ready before I realized we had no mayonnaise. Rather than have to make something different, it occurred to me that I could try making it, which I had never done before. It took almost no time at all. My son, a teen at the time, was tremendously impressed, not that I had mayo, but that it was so good. He loved it. Despite the onion and other added ingredients, the home made mayo was very noticeable. |
