However, thanks to your sincerity, I will try to bring it up at the next rfc cabal (TINC) meeting for their consideration. You really want to rock the food world? OK. It may take some time! The rfc cabal (TINC) will be in touch. <VBG> Andy |

Sauce was a mix of sour cream, lemon juice, cilantro and a bit of jalapeno. They don't hold together too well tho, so next time, I'll just dump the fish and the rest on a bed of butter lettuce and some tortilla chips. By the way, can corn tortillas be frozen and thawed without crumbling? I had to buy a 2 lb. pkg. |

I had to buy a 2 lb. pkg. tweeny, You made your own salsa? Wow! I take the cheap-o jar route. Fish tacos are great! Heck actually anything you can shovel into a tortilla is great! LOL!!! But ya almost stumped the band with "By the way, can corn tortillas be frozen" Had me thinking! I've never seen corn tortillas in a can. A few re-reads later I was back in peace and harmony. Whew! You only need heat up as many tortillas as you can predict. They're pretty disposable and cheap enough to not worry yourself over, imho. Best, Andy |

So who shares the opinion is it improper to call it a "taco"
if it's in a flour tortilla rather than a corn tortilla? Steve |

Either type tortilla can get tastier if cooked just right. It's more of a matter of terminology. If the widget is made with a flour tortilla it doesn't seem like a taco. It seems like a burrito, maybe one that hasn't been folded up normally. Steve |

Traditionally, taco is usually one or two soft corn torts with stuff on top, but a small, 6-8" flour tort with stuff on top, folded over or not is tacoey enough. > > Steve --Bryan |

Now my choices are something wrapped in plastic from a foctory in new jersey, or learn to make them myself. Thought I was lucky to find relatively fresh, relatively local recently, but in a huge bag. Used what I needed, divided the rest into sandwich sized bags and froze. Defrosted a couple so far, and, still good. B |

Don't know what the heck you had but it wasn't tacos. :-) Are you sure you're not from Pittsburgh? Apparently people in Pittsburgh think you can make taquitos, tacos, and enchiladas with flour tortillas. Gasp!
