Blinky's favorite dish??

To those who knew him better or best, did he have a favorite dish?

Maybe a recipe to go with it?

I don't know about his favorite dish, but I do know he'd try anything
from SPAM to okra...

However, I remember him telling me about some cut up chicken breasts he
pan fried one evening; he started them cooking and then he added some
onion and tomato and celery - plus some garlic a little later - to make
the 'sauce'. Said he thickened it with cornstarch. He also said it
was 'Simple, nonmeasured, tasty', which about sums it up, IMHO.

I would think swimmer or surfer, raw. Sort of sashimi.

Wasn't he trying out a lot of taco places in the LA area last year?
He seemed to like spicy food IIRC.

sandi,

Maybe so.

Blinky was certainly in the right place for Mexican cuisine, when in
landshark mode, that is.

Best,

Life rarely is babe... <sigh>

I gotta go clean up the kitchen now. I should have done it a couple of
hours ago but really needed to ice stuff for a bit.

Cheers!

<lol> Indeed...

I got tired and went to sleep around noon!
I'm trying to psyche myself into going and doing some cooking. There is
some chicken thawed and I have leeks and mushrooms. I'll probably toss
the whole mess into the roaster oven along with some carrots and do some
chicken pot roast.

Agreed. The PL stalker troll is universally hated, but I think that
makes him happy. Sad, that. :-(

We had shark in Blinky's honor today. I marinated a thick shark steak in
soy, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil, then broiled it for 10 minutes an
inch or so and served it with some stir-fried rice noodles and veggies.
It was really good.

I've been slaving away at work on appellate work and haven't been able
to check in here for a couple of weeks. What's happened to Blinky?

Damn, I am so sorry to hear that. I inferred as much, but wanted to
inquire. Thank you for the information, Andy.
