Default Seasoning a Wok

There has been a lot of discussion on this. Perhaps this will help.

If she turned that wok ring upside down -- i.e., with the narrower rim
on the bottom, wider on the top -- the wok would sit closer to the
flame and get hotter. For cooking as well as for seasoning.

If she used tongs she could do a better job of wiping the oil around
the entire surface before burning her fingers. -aem
