Commercially prepared eggnog is probably thick enough, rich enough, and sweet enough, to not require any additional ingredients, unless you'd like to add additional nutmeg, and perhaps some rum and/or brandy extract. Using actual rum or brandy to give it adequate flavor will probably cause it not to freeze as firmly as you'd like. I would just pour the eggnog into the ice cream freezer with the chosen additions and proceed to freeze it. At least this is what I would do if I were making it. -- Wayne Boatwright (correct the spelling of "geemail" to reply) ************************************************** ********************** Date: Wednesday, 12(XII)/31(XXXI)/08(MMVIII) ************************************************** ********************** ************************************************** ********************** Those who can't write, write manuals. ************************************************** ********************** |
