Default Election night drinking games

Every time CNN cues up its "we are ready to call a state" fanfa take
a hit on the drink of your choice

Someone mentions "Joe the Plumber": drain the remaining contents of your
glass

Someone mentions socialism: pour some of your drink into the glass of
the person next to you

Someone mentions the stock market: dump your drink in the sink

Someone mentions "trickle down economics": time to pee

Someone mentions Bradley Effect: down one Rebel Yell Beer

McCain appears on camera: one hit of Metamucil

Obama appears on camera: one slurp on a latte

The night ends with the GOP and Dems tied at 269 electoral votes:
megadose of Imodium

The night ends with the result depending on a recount in Florida: take a
shot of hemlock

etc.

Well now, I think this is funny, but then I’m in another hemisphere on
the other side of the Pacific. Not anywhere near a TV spewing out the
crap I know all of you at “home” in the US have been subjected to.

We will try to follow the results from here through internet. Our
votes have been sent and I hope counted. Not sure we will play the
drinking game. We do have a bottle of Tamburlaine Chambourcin left
from our wine tasting tour through the Hunter valley on our drive
north to Bundaberg from Sydney. We plan to offer a toast to the new
president and our country when the deed is done.

On RFT topic: Tonight my husband is Kooking Kangaroo. Hmmmmm…

PS: Yummmm!!! While I was writing my hubbin’ was cooking and it went
pretty fast. Yum yum yum, tender morsels of meat flavored with
teriyaki marinade seared to perfection. Gotta go….

Kangaroo. The venison of the outback. :-)

I've often wanted to try it someday.

I hope you get the chance; it was pure melt in your mouth goodness.

Although, I am feeling a bit jumpy this evening. ;-)

Heh. "Socialist drinking". That's like the trick my dad taught me for
drinking with a larger, thirstier companion without winding up under the
table. When his glass is empty, tip half the contents of your glass
into his. Repeat until both glasses are empty. Then and only then do
you order another round.
