Default A bunch of fruit

We were given a bunch of fruit that's just about at expiration date. (We
have a friend whose friend runs a produce stand. Our friend gets the old
stuff for free and we reap the benefits, sometimes.) Most of it is
cantaloupe - I mean a LOT of cantaloupe.

I was thinking about a chilled cantaloupe soup. I've found many recipes and
they all sound pretty good. My question is, has anyone ever made or tried
cantaloupe soup before and if so, what were your thoughts on it?

That is very good....but don't overlook making cantaloupe sorbet. I
love that stuff.

Oooh, that does sound good! (Believe me, I have enough cantaloupe to try
just about anything!) I also have a watermelon, so I could incorporate that
into the drink as well. I think it's seedless, I'm not sure. I haven't
checked, yet.

Another great idea! Like a cantaloupe slushy. Yum.

Don't do it. Everyone thinks that, but it doesn't work. Watermelon is a
whole nother animal.
