Default Pancakes vs. Waffles, The Greatest Breakfast Battle of All Time?

I love buttermilk pancakes, but I'm not crazy about buttermilk waffles.
Maybe I like the pancakes more because they had two tablespoons of sugar in
them, and waffles are more floury? Any ideas?
