Grilling Roasts
Hi. Just wondering how you good follks go about grilling a roast. I have a new
(from last year) Weber gas grill. Three burners. All I've done so far are hot dogs and burgers, chicken and pork chops. I'd like to try and grill a nice roast (beef). So, my question is, what's a good roast to use, how to preapre it, and how to cook it? I don't have a rotisserie, although I wouldn't be adverse to buying one. But how about just on the rack? Anyway, I'd appreciate any input or suggestions. Thanks. |

For best results, put the roast on one side and light the burner on the opposite side. Indirect heat is the easiest to deal with. No special prep is needed, just rub it down with your favorite spices. You may want to put a pan under it to catch the drippings. I also do a lot of rotisserie cooking. Chickens, rib eye, pork loin, all come out excellent. Put the potatoes over the burner. |

Start with a very hot grill, char both sides, turn down the grill and let it cook. They are a good value and very tasty meat. Dimitri |
