Soup of any kind
Pasta of any kind
Kasha of any kind
Mashed potato rissoles with some filling
Chicken Pojarski (this is just minced-chicken patties, nothing fancy -
and it does not taste remotely similar to any chicken he might have
tried)
Pease pudding
Cottage pudding or hachis Parmentier (this is just layered mashed
potatoes and minced meat)
Various egg or egg-based dishes
