Stop Me Before I Collect Again !!!
Isn't this one of the nicest antique jagging wheels
you've ever seen: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=310038893858 I'm planning to use my antique pasta machine to make ravioli, so I wanted a nice jagging wheel. It'll be tough to resist the temptation to bid on this one, but I've recently bought two others. I don't want to add another category of stuff I collect, unless of course I have to. |

I'll do the opposite :P If you don't try to win the auction, you'll regret you it I bet. The description says the tool is ivory. Might be worth a go. Dang, I hate when that happens! I'm thinking about making artichoke ravioli when my first pastry wheel arrives. When I told my best friend about my antique pasta machine and that I was thinking about making ravioli, that was her suggestion, and all this talk recently about artichokes is starting to get to me. |

Figures I didn't quite say it right the first time, but at least you knew what I meant. I've been in the same situation more than a few times, as well. I didn't buy something when I had the chance, and I regretted it for some time afterwards. Oh well, such is life sometimes. Sky, who's BTDT -- Ultra Ultimate Kitchen Rule - Use the Timer! Stop you? Nah. Some people collect cookbooks, some collect match boxes, the list goes on; you go for 'obscure kitchen gizmos' - enjoy ;) -- Cheers Chatty Cathy Monday is a lousy way to spend one seventh of your life. |
