You have a Dyson, and I wonder if you would recommend the Dyson DC07
Cyclone Upright?

Is $219.99 a good price? Woot has it on sale today and I need to decide

I'm not familiar with the DC07, I have the DC15 and I'm very happy
with it. The one at Woot says it's reconditioned, it's about half
price but I wonder if it is covered under a full warranty. Compare at

It has a 6 month warranty, so maybe I should reconsider. I am not a
handyman when it comes to repairing vacuum cleaners. I fiddle with them
for a little while, then I get frustrated and I want to toss it out the
back door. LOL

A new Dyson comes with a 5 year warranty.

After shopping around and checking prices I bought mine directly from
Dyson, their prices are as good as any including free shipping, but
they have the best service, very knowlegeable and extremely patient...
there is a learning curve for becoming familiar with all the features,
how to get best use from the machine, and how to perfom routine
maintenance, their service department is very helpful.

Originally I had ordered a reconditioned DC15 from Amazon for $100
less but they kept extending the shipping date until I had waited
almost four months, so I cancelled and ordered direct. My Dyson
perfoms well beyond my wildest expectations, and I have six cats, no
other vacuum even comes close. I also ordered some extra attachments;
the bedding tool (a wide tool for vacuuming beds), the extra long
flexible crevace tool, and the low reach tool for under low
furniture. Btw, these extra tools may need special adaptors depending
on which model you have, Dyson includes them for free.

It sounds like you are pleased with your purchase, that is nice to hear.

The vacuum on Woot was not the one for people with animals, and that is
the one I would prefer to have. If I am going to invest in one, it
should be the right one. Thanks.
