Default Bacon salt

I am not making this up. Three Seattle-based entrepreneurs are
marketing bacon-flavored salt:

The stuff is kosher, and one of the varieties is vegan. Wonders never
cease.

Well, 3 oz. is 3 oz., any way you look at it. Probably about the size of a
typical spice bottle.

I've never done it, but it seems like you should be able to put a
ceramic bowl of salt in your stove-top or backyard smoker and get
similar results. (It won't be kosher unless it's certifed as such, and
if pork products or other non-kosher products are used, it can't be).
