I never watched it until the last episode, but just before it aired I borrowed some CDs from Season 5. It was so good I watched three episodes in a row last night, and I am planning to watch 2-3 more tonight. |

Tammy, we all have our own tastes, but sometimes we don't even know what they are until we are grudgingly drawn in. I've never seen Wizard of Oz; I know that makes me an odd ball :-), but not seeing the Sopranos will not make you an odd ball. Myself, I probably wouldn't have watched them, either, as I said in my previous post, but I think watching them with someone would be more enjoyable that by one's self. DH & I are foreign film buffs and watch loads. Some of them I will walk out, but DH will say just give it a try. Then we either really get into it, or realize, hey, this really IS bad. |

Yet you seem somehow compelled to reply to a thread that holds no interest for you. Interesting. Are you aware that you can ignore an *entire* thread? Do you mean something different than that? Such intigue! I just recorded the 1st and 2nd seasons of Top Chef which I hadn't been interested in previously, but I can't see much else of interest to me at this time. Top Chef, season 2 started tonight. I'll probably not watch any until the snowy season. Cancelling Dish "Everything" after Rome finishes up this Saturday night. I've barely gotten a movie out of the subscription as I've rented them before they come to Dish. I noticed Anthony Bourdain is on Top Chef this 1st season first segment, as I was flipping by. I missed the last 15 minutes of it -- it goes 1 hr. 15 minutes -- and had to record it again. I don't know if he is on every segment or not. Dee Dee |

I cannot stand any anise-flavoured concoctions. {{{shudder}}} > (And is it available > state-side?) Most every one of them can be found anywhere. See <http://www.drinksmixer.com/desc228.html>. Molinari is probably the best regarded of the widely available brands. Where are you, I forget? In or near San Jose? Bevmo is sure to carry it. Victor |

Interesting. First, I replied to a person, not to a thread. Second, the thread does hold interest to me, it being yet another example of the diarrhoe of irrelevancy, which fact I took care to point out, even if in very mild terms - too mild for you to notice. Now what compelled you to respond to my post? The same kind of diarrhoe or another one? > Are you aware that you can ignore an *entire* thread? No, I have never been aware of this option. Thank you kindly for the edification! Could you please take some more of your valuable time to post yet more inanities^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Htips? > Are you perhaps related to Jerry Sack? <insert maniacal laughter here> Have you been doing a lot of drugs or alcohol lately? Both? ObFood: Tapulon, a Piedmontese donkey meat stew. The recipe is from <http://www.cookaround.com/cook/italia/piemonte/confro-1.php?id_ric=525>. Victor Donkey stew Tapulon Ingredients: 600 grams minced donkey meat, rosemary, juniper, 50 grams butter, 25 grams lard, 2 tablespoon of oil, 2 onions finely diced, 2 laurel leaves, 1 cup of red wine, beef broth, salt and pepper. Dear Allan, I'll put it to you gently while typing slowly... There are two ways to reply to a person: 1. Public. 2. Private. Also, one does not reply to a thread; one replies in a thread to a person or post of one's choice. HTH. ObFood: Mashed potatoes with sauerkraut and blutwurst (black pudding). Cook sauerkraut with some lard and crumbled bacon. Mash freshly boiled potatoes with some milk and butter. Fry some slices of blutwurst. Mix sauerkraut with the potatoes in relation 1:3 and mix well. Serve with slices of blutwurst on top. > Hugs, > Bluetoethİ Smooches, Victor |
