My favorite Produce Market
Looks wonderful. . .We have a fairly nice Farmers Market here in the
Sacramento area. It occurs every Saturday morning at Sunrise Mall. Myrl Jeffcoat http://www.myrljeffcoat.com |

Kswck, It's a great market but they don't stock every variety of every produce and/or it changes seasonally. I see some of the same folks there about every time I visit. Maybe somebody should ask them if they ARE lost. <g> Andy |

I've seen Manhattan's Union Square market on TV. Can't fathom it supplying the entire 5 boroughs of NYC. Here in Philly, I can drive over to the Italian market in South Philly (9th & Washington Ave.) but in all honesty it's small potatoes, when you consider 9th St. is a one way single lane street for about 7 short city and clogged with delivery and pick-up vehicles for the duration of the day. Then there's the famous Reading Terminal Market at 12th & Arch, with it's own set of problems. Their saving grace for me is I can train into town and get off right below it and shop and then train home. Andy |

There are 30 or more 'Greenmarkets' around NYC. Although Union Square is one of the better ones-but it is just for the average Joe, it doesn't serve the restaurants. |
