Looks wonderful. . .We have a fairly nice Farmers Market here in the
Sacramento area. It occurs every Saturday morning at Sunrise Mall.

Kswck,

It's a great market but they don't stock every variety of every produce
and/or it changes seasonally.

I see some of the same folks there about every time I visit. Maybe somebody
should ask them if they ARE lost. <g>

Always like a really good market. Then again, I'm spoiled-I shop the markets
in NYC. Nother month or so for the good stuff.

I've seen Manhattan's Union Square market on TV. Can't fathom it supplying
the entire 5 boroughs of NYC.

Here in Philly, I can drive over to the Italian market in South Philly (9th
& Washington Ave.) but in all honesty it's small potatoes, when you
consider 9th St. is a one way single lane street for about 7 short city and
clogged with delivery and pick-up vehicles for the duration of the day.

Then there's the famous Reading Terminal Market at 12th & Arch, with it's
own set of problems. Their saving grace for me is I can train into town and
get off right below it and shop and then train home.

Not just the Union Square market. There are 30 or more 'Greenmarkets' around
NYC. Although Union Square is one of the better ones-but it is just for the
average Joe, it doesn't serve the restaurants.
