It's there; you just have to look.

Would you mind copying and pasting it here please?
Trying to join another group is out for a lot of people, especially
since it usually means sorting thru over 10,000 posts to find the
relevant one.

TIA! :-)

It's the same one Chris Marksberry posted. In fact, Chris posted it
there.

Here's the additional article about Bob that was posted on alt.obituaries.
It includes a very nice picture of Bob.

Only a moron signs "Cheers" when addressing the departed.

I disagree...

Nothing wrong with raising a toast to the departed...

What you fail to understand, Bobby, is that some of us use Usenet.
Google Groups is not the same. I don't use Google Groups, so, who is
it that needs to be a bit more "smart"? Maybe if you Google "Usenet",
you'll figure out what I mean. After all, you need to "be too smart to
find it."

The subject line is usually at the top of the message. I believe Chuck
was saying that Bob's obituary is posted in alt.obituaries.

Just sample the group Om, don't download all posts. I did it a couple
of days ago and I only needed 150-200 posts to find it.
