"Noodles and Cheese--" Replace the swiss cheese with cottage cheese. We
ate this growing up Jewish in the Bronx, particularly around Shavuot
when dairy meals are customary and for lunch during the summer.
I like it like this:
Cook about a pound of extra wide noodles. Fry the coked noodles in
melted butter (I like lots of butter, but as you like it) until they
just begin to color a little, Take the pot off the heat and mix in a
16-ounce carton of large curd cottage cheese. Add salt and pepper to
taste.
