Default Doggie Bags...WOOF YUK

I'm curious about your opinions of doggie bags and restaraunt
leftovers. I don't mind my own, because I know how long I was at table
and how long the remains were in transit.

My pet peeve is when some well-meaning and frugal slob shows up with
styrofoam encased leftovers of dubious timeage and insists on sharing
the saliva-laden dregs with me. What is a reasonable time for leftovers
to make the journey from restaraunt to fridge?
