Another random question about homemade yogurt

Anybody know if you can make flavored yogurt by adding syrup? like the
syrup that you get for coffee? I know I can add in stuff afterward,
but I was thinking it would be nice to add it in before & use sugarfree
syrup. Any suggestions greatly appreciated :-)

P.S. My yogurt recipe includes 1 quart milk. Thanks!

What is yogurt? It is milk that has been treated with bacteria. Syrup can
be added after the milk turns to yogurt...as the cultures that make
yogurt...will kill off anyother cultures...but adding syrup before those
yogurt cultures get dominance is asking for trouble.

Kinda like having cake and icecream but adding the icecream just before you
bake the cake.
