The Relìv Scientific Advisory Board helps Relìv stay on the forefront
of nutritional supplement and neutraceutical innovation. Inspired by
Dr. Carl W. Hastings, Relìv Executive Vice President, and his success

independently, poring over research data from around the world. Their
goal is to help Relìv advance its knowledge of ingredient combinations

The Relìv Scientific Advisory Board continually looks for

Dr. Bivins is a board certified family physician and a member of the
American Academy of Family Physicians, the Florida Academy of Family
Physicians, the Chattanooga Hamilton County Medical Society, the
Academy of HBO and Underwater Medical Society, the American Women
Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Bivins started taking Relìv products for weight loss in 1991.
Within two and a half months, she lost 35 pounds and noticed a distinct
increase in energy, a decrease in migraine headaches and was able to
reduce ulcer and irritable bowel medications. Based on her personal

Dr. Pfeifer is a board-certified family practitioner who received his
medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and performed
his residency at Methodist Hospital of Indiana. He is a member of the
American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians,
Indiana Medical Association and Marion County Medical Society. Since
his introduction to Relìv products, Dr. Pfeifer says his practice has
evolved to be more nutrition-centered.

In addition to proper diet and exercise, Dr. Pfeifer says Relìv

Dr. Hastings is the driving force behind Relìv's innovation in

He received his Ph.D. in food science from the University of Illinois
and has spent more than 30 years researching and developing a broad
range of food products. He began his career with Mead Johnson &
Company, where he conducted research on sterilized liquid nutritional
food products and developed low-calorie dietary frozen desserts
marketed under the Weight Watchers brand. The strong emphasis on
nutrition and quality at Mead Johnson became the impetus for Dr.
Hastings' growing interest and commitment to high-quality nutritional
food products.

Since joining Relìv in 1988, Dr. Hastings has translated his
phenomenal understanding of food science into nutritional products that
are not only good for the body, but also possess exceptional taste. He
is a noted authority on the use of soy foods and a leading figure in
